Middle School’s Jalen Blackwell Qualifies for Youth Scholarship Program

He attended the awards ceremony on December 14th where he was recognized for his essay. 

Jalen then qualified to move on to the District level competition, which took place on January 13th. He competed with other students to try and earn the one available spot for the state competition.

Although Jalen was not selected to move on to the State competition, his academic prowess and love for learning were evident throughout the competition.
