Lindsay Parker ’12, one of the first graduates of Gerstell Academy, has come home and replaces Mrs. Valedon as our school nurse. Ms. Parker attended Gerstell starting in grade 5 and graduated in 2012 with the inaugural graduating class of 20 students. While at Gerstell, Lindsay was a Golden Falcon recipient, playing three seasons of sports for all four years in upper school. She was involved in many aspects of student life, helping to establish our first student government association, first all school carnival, and many of the ongoing traditions we hold near and dear today.

Following graduation from Gerstell, Ms. Parker attended Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg) and continued her lacrosse career there, graduating in 2016. Lindsay returned to college and received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Carroll Community College in 2019, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Stevenson University in 2020. Prior to her return to Gerstell, she had been working as a nurse in the Emergency Room at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

Lindsay is passionate about continuing the legacy that was started with her graduating class. She has fully embraced the value system of Gerstell since a small child and feels that it has been instrumental in her success thus far. Lindsay believes deeply in the Gerstell mission, and as the school nurse, she will continue to instill our value system in all the children. Lindsay currently resides in Westminster.
