Gerstell Academy Students Recognized as Carson Scholars
After a rigorous application process, and the largest pool of applicants in the history of the Carson Scholar Program, Junior Natalie Delgado and 4th Grade student Jaxsyn B. have been selected as 2026 Carson Scholars.
The Carson Scholars Fund awards a one-time $1,000 scholarship to students in grades 4-11 who excel academically and serve their community. Scholarship winners receive the honor of being named Carson Scholars, an Olympic-sized medal, and a trophy for their school to celebrate their accomplishments. Funding for this scholarship was made possible byThe Kahlert Foundationwho believes in the transformative power of education and service to others.
Seniors Matthew Glaser and Ashtyn Logue, along with junior Leah Wilson, have also been recognized by the Carson Scholars program. As previous scholarship recipients, they continue to maintain high academic standards and a strong commitment to community involvement, earning recognition for their ongoing excellence.
Gerstell Academy Portrait Leader, Dr. Ben Carson and his wife, Candy, started this fund under the principle that if children could be taught early to excel, they would stay motivated and have a higher chance of educational success in life. Though recognized scholars do not receive additional monies, they are honored each year as they continue this important legacy.
Student winners will be honored on SundayMay 17th at THE HALL at LIVE.
Congratulations to the Gerstell Carson Scholars, and Gerstell leaders!
