Gerstell Parents and Students Share Time, Talents, and Treasures
Each year in October, Carroll Community Hospital hosts an inspirational afternoon in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Pink Fling was attended by many of our Gerstell parents and students. Dr. Dona Hobart, a Gerstell parent and the hospital's Medical Director for the Center for Breast Health, chaired the event. Her ninth-grade son, Ajaya, designed a custom t-shirt specifically for this occasion. The t-shirts were sold by students during the event to raise additional revenue for the Center. Maddie Sprinkle'20, Khadija Shah'19, and Alekhya Errapothu'20, served on The Pink Fling Planning Committee. We are proud of our participating Gerstell students and parents who helped raise over $70,000 for the Center for Breast Health.
