Weather Halts Conference Opener, Falcons Split at Mount Hebron
Girls Varsity Lacrosse
Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse opened conference play on April 1 on the road at St. John’s Catholic Prep, but the game was halted at halftime due to severe weather and will be rescheduled. On Saturday, April 4, the Falcons competed in Mount Hebron’s Spring Tournament, Fight for 5, opening with a dominant 16–8 win over Century. Hailee Petrecz, Morgan Steigerwald, and Piper Gallagher paced the offense in the decisive victory. In the second game, Gerstell battled host Mount Hebron but fell short in a hard-fought 11–8 matchup. Cambrie Franks led the Falcons with three goals, while Emmalee Myers made a strong defensive impact by forcing three fourth-quarter turnovers.
