On Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 p.m., the Seventh Grade Theatre Arts performance lit up the Paterakis Athletic Center captivating the audience from the very first moment! This vibrant variety-show-style was a dazzling display of talent, energy and creativity; entertaining and inspiring parents and friends with an evening full of music, movement, learning and drama.
Under the direction of Theatre Arts instructor Ms. Nan Kaestner, students showcased their talents through an engaging mix of dance, singing, and acting pieces. Ms. Kaestner brought her classes to life with an interactive approach that even included the audience in a series of fun dance lessons proving that learning and laughter can go hand in hand with leadership, public speaking, and theatre.
The night featured memorable performances from beloved classics such as Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, The King and I, and The Outsiders, along with a sneak peek at the upcoming production of Elf. Each act offered a close-up view of the creativity, confidence, and skill of the seventh-grade class.
It was truly an evening to remember; one that celebrated the power of performance and the joy of learning through the arts!
