Gerstell Academy seeks an enthusiastic Lower School Kindergarten Teacher to join our instructional team.

Instructional Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons using the kindergarten curricula including early literacy, integrated language arts, and math while integrating and instilling leadership skills and values.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth and tailor instruction.
  • Use play-based learning, hands-on activities, and best practices to teach academic, social, and leadership skills.
  • Create a warm, engaging, and structured classroom environment that fosters independence, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  • Meet with families and colleagues to share student progress and address individual needs.
  • Collaborate with faculty in support of school-wide initiatives.
General Qualifications
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood or elementary education.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for building positive relationships with the community.
