Gerstell Academy Volleyball Team Competes in “B” Conference Championship

The Volleyball team has been a consistent presence in the top of the “B” Conference in the IAAM and has reached the championship game for the past four years. The team won the “C” Conference title in 2024 and continue to battle for the top spot in the “B” Conference. 
 
Under the leadership of Head Coach Megan Badorrek and Assistant Coaches, Hayley Nagle and Jolie Jones, the team enjoys a positive and competitive environment. 
 
Regarding the season, Coach Badorrek commented,  
 
“I am incredibly proud of this group and everything they accomplished this season. This team worked hard, continued to grow together, and showed what it means to compete for each other. Making it back to the championship game is a great accomplishment, and it speaks to the commitment and effort this entire team put in throughout the season. Every player played a role in getting us there, and I'm proud of how they continued to push each other and compete as a team. Our seniors have also played a huge role in building this program into what it is today. I am especially grateful for the leadership and impact of Natalie, Alivia, Megan, and Leah. They have each left their own mark on this program, and they will certainly be missed. While we didn't get the ending we hoped for, I couldn't be prouder of this team and excited for what lies ahead for Gerstell volleyball.” 

As the season comes to a close, the future of volleyball at Gerstell looks bright! Congratulations to the Falcons on an outstanding season and to our seniors for their lasting contributions!
