Congratulations to Bode Yelland '24 for receiving his Eagle Scout earlier this month. This is the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting and signifies a dedication that few can achieve. In the words of the Eagle Scout promise, Eagles do their best each day to make their "training an example." Their rank and their influence count strongly for better scouting and for better citizenship in their troop, in their community, and in their contacts with other people. Bode took action this summer to conduct a service project and built an outdoor classroom by the stream on Gerstell's campus. Bode exemplifies the Gerstell leadership model and serves as an outstanding role model to his peers.
