Upper School Student Wins "Champions of Courage" Essay Competition
Eesha Gupta, a ninth grader, is one of twenty winners in the 32nd Annual "Champions of Courage" Black History Month Essay Competition. "Champions of Courage" is designed to commemorate Black History Month by celebrating positive role models for youth. More than three thousand entries were received from middle and high schools throughout the Baltimore metro area. Eesha will receive a $100 award at a special awards breakfast to be held in late January.
The twenty champions will salute their personal heroes during Black History Month in January and February and will also appear on WBFF-TV Fox 45, WNUV-TV, The CW Baltimore and My TV Baltimore over the next two months. Congratulations to Eesha for receiving this recognition!
