Gerstell Academy Celebrates 30 Years with an Elegant and Unforgettable Gala

Gerstell Academy marked a major milestone recently as the community gathered for its 30th Anniversary Gala, an evening filled with celebration, connection, and heartfelt appreciation. The event, sponsored by the Gerstell Academy Alumni Association, brought together an extraordinary mix of guests—Board members, alumni, alumni families, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the school—each united in honoring three decades of leadership, growth, and shared purpose.

The evening opened with a warm atmosphere and beautifully curated décor that set the tone for a night of elegance and reflection. Guests enjoyed an impressive selection of gourmet food from Atlas Restaurant Group, lively conversation, and exceptional music that kept the celebration vibrant from start to finish. Throughout the night, attendees rekindled old friendships, forged new connections, and shared memories that highlighted the Academy’s enduring impact on their lives.

 

A highlight of the evening was the inspiring words delivered by Founder Dr. Frederick G. Smith, whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for the Academy’s mission and values. His remarks reflected on the school’s journey, the strength of its community, the success of the alumni, and the bright future ahead. The Alumni Association Board President, Mr. Connor Eline ’12 presented Dr. Smith with a special commemorative gift—a gesture of gratitude for his leadership and the legacy he continues to shape.
