Moderated by Mrs. Wilson, Head of Lower School, the Geography Bee consisted of two competitive rounds, with a tie‑breaker round planned if needed. Students were challenged with questions covering a wide range of topics, including Maryland state facts, state capitals, key geographic terms, locations of states, countries, continents, and oceans, flags and capitals from around the world, and U.S. government buildings, statues, and memorials.
All teams were well prepared, and the competition was intense from start to finish. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication. A special congratulations to our first‑place winners, third-grade students: Sethlie S, Evelyn F, Hayden D, and Jaxon W.
