Lower School Students Carol at Golden Crest Assisted Living Centers

Lower School students were generous with their time and talents while spreading holiday cheer to the residents of Golden Crest Assisted Living Centers in Westminster. Twenty-nine girls and boys from PK through Grade 5 stayed after school on Mondays to practice with Mrs. Daly. On Monday, December 10, Mrs. Daly led two different caroling concerts. The residents of the centers gathered in their dining areas while the children donned festive holiday hats. Mrs. Daly directed a 30-minute program which included Chanukah and Christmas favorites. The residents joined in with several of the selections. Afterwards, the children greeted the residents with warm smiles and handshakes sharing wishes for a wonderful holiday season. The staff of each center offered the children cookies, punch, and sincere gratitude. In an already hectic time of year, we appreciate the LS Faculty members and LS families who shared the songs in their hearts and the smiles on their faces with our new friends at Golden Crest! Thank you especially to the Tissue Family who kindly provided holiday cards signed by students and faculty for the residents and baked delicious treats for the children to enjoy!
