ALL Gerstell Academy students are invited to participate in the contest. The contest is open to the youngest students in Pre-K to the oldest in grade 12.

An evaluation committee will select the top ten student artworks from all the submitted entries. One student artwork will be selected for the 2018 holiday card from the top ten artworks. Our Art Department faculty, Mrs. Estes and Ms. Pollasch, will not be members of the evaluation committee, so that they may mentor and coach students with their original artwork entry.

v  The artwork entry must be original, not copied from the Internet or another source, and created entirely by the student artist, without assistance from another individual.

v  Each student may enter ONE original artwork, accompanied by an entry form.

v  Avoid religious symbols and references – the card needs to be nonsectarian.

v  Include the GA logo, name, or highly recognizable features of the school.

v  Artwork entries must be in COLOR.

v  Submit artwork entries to Mrs. Estes or Ms. Pollasch.

v  Artwork must be in a horizontal, “landscape,” format.

v  Final submission of art must be on 81/2” X 11” paper.
