Upper School Students Collect Supplies for Boys and Girls Club

As part of a community service project during the first two weeks of May, members of the Upper School National Art Honor Society (“NAHS”) collected art supplies for the Boys and Girls Club of Westminster. This initiative coincided with the annual Art Fair which was held during that same time frame. Ms. Pollasch, Art Department Chair and Faculty Advisor for the National Art Honor Society delivered an array of much needed art supplies to the Boys and Girls Club. Ms. Rachel Warner, Student Services Director, and her colleagues were thrilled to receive the donated supplies.

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The art supplies will be directly used by students who benefit from their programs. The NAHS members were proud to utilize Leadership Principle #9, “Be thankful for and generous with your time, talents, and treasures.”
