Jake Higgins '17, is a starter this year for the Division 1 Maryland Terrapin Lacrosse team. Jake was chosen to lead the team and carry the Maryland flag in the game against the Richmond Spiders. The Terps came out on top after defeating the Spiders in double overtime.

 

Jake expressed the following; “It was a special moment to run out with the flag alongside my teammates. It's a feeling like no other being able to put on a Maryland jersey and not only represent the team and University but also the entire state. Running behind the flag, is exhilarating and it makes a statement we are here and ready to play."
