Gerstell Seniors Athletes Announce College Commitments

On April 16, 2019, Gerstell athletics celebrated four more student athletes making their public announcements of commitment to compete at the college level. Senior Noel Talbot signed her National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Goldey Beacom. Senior Gabby Manning signed her celebratory letter to play soccer at St. Mary's College of Maryland, Anthony Carpenter signed his National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Bowie State, and Alan Mogilnay signed his National Letter of Intent to swim for Randolph Macon.
Athletic Director Christine Hryzak had this to say about the accomplishments, "It is another exciting milestone for Gerstell Academy Athletics when our students commit to continue their athletic
endeavors at the collegiate level. We currently have six student-athletes from the class of 2019 that are committed and we could not be more thrilled for us as a program, for them, and for their families.  I am proud and appreciative of these seniors who have dedicated their time, talents, and treasures to our Athletics program. Their passion, perseverance, attitude, and work ethic have set the example for what a Gerstell student-athlete is all about. I wish them the best as their change over into their college colors and hope they always remain a Falcon at heart."
These four seniors bring the current total of Gerstell Academy Student Athletes that have made college commitments for athletics. Reece Early has signed to play baseball at the Naval Academy, and Carly Merlo has signed to Towson University for Lacrosse.
