Gerstell's First Tech Challenge (FTC) Team. led by Ms. Meghan Jothen and Mr. Butch Hilliard, competed in a Howard County Qualifier at Oakland Mills High School on Sunday, February 17th. The Upper School Robotics team, earned 3rd place out of 37 teams and won a Finalist Alliance Award for making it to the final round of competition. This is not an easy feat! Because of their strong performance, the Falcons earned a spot at the Maryland State FTC Championships which takes place on Sunday, March 3rd at UMBC.
