Dr. Arnaldo Valedon, Mrs. Lynda Valedon (our School Nurse), and their children, Gerstell senior Aryana and freshman Zavian, recently traveled to Honduras on a medical mission and provided voluntary health care and assistance to families in need in Tegucigalpa, Honduras as part of One World Surgery. Dr. Valedon is an anesthesiologist and Mrs. Valedon worked as a Recovery Room Nurse before joining our Gerstell family as our school nurse.

 

Through the voluntary organizations One World Surgery and Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) the Valedons, together with other volunteers, assisted with 26 surgeries and 81 patient consultations. The family also became close with three children from the NPH home during their stay and signed up to sponsor them as "padrinos" or godparents.
