All-School Veterans Day Leadership Circle

If you are a veteran, have a family member who is a veteran, or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, we would like to extend an invitation to our All-School Veterans Day Leadership Circle. On Thursday, November 11^th at 9:00am, Gerstell Academy will host a flag raising ceremony and assembly to reflect on the commitment and sacrifice of those who have demonstrated Leadership, Honor, and Courage by serving in our military. Lower and Middle School students should be in Special Dress.

In previous years, this ceremony has taken place at the Paterakis Athletic Center. This year, we invite our veterans and honored guests to arrive at our newest facility, the Alumni House, located on the north end of campus.

20th Annual Pie Run

We invite you to join fellow turkey lovers, runners and friends for an appetite-inducing morning of good-natured competition. The first Thanksgiving Pie Run started in the fall of 2002. It is a time to come together within the Gerstell community and raise money for local charitable organizations. Please read below for more information:

Date: Sunday, November 21, 2021

Where: Venice K. Paterakis Stadium

Time: 9:00 am

Cost: $10 per participant / $25 per family of 3 or more Cash and Checks Only (payable to Gerstell Academy)Drop-In Payment Box available the day of the race

Schedule of Events

9:00 am Pick-Up Packet and Temperature Check10:00 am 5K Race11:00 am One Mile Family Fun Run/WalkPlease complete the registration for each participant. Due to safety precautions, there will be NO onsite registration. Registrations must be submitted by Thursday, November 18th. Any registrations after November 18th will not be accepted. When arriving to campus for the event, please have one person from your group check in at the registration table to pick up your race packet. Please note, as you register for one or both events, the 5K race is a competitive race is run on a difficult cross country course. The Family Fun Run/Walk will take place on a completely paved surface and is for runners/walkers interested in a less competitive, but fun fitness event. Each participant must complete the Covid-19 pre-screening questionnaire that they will receive on race day. You may register by clicking below or by using the QR code.
