Welcome to Second Grade where opportunities for learning and leadership abound!
Students are actively engaged in their learning, with a focus on reading fluency and public speaking. Leadership opportunities are presented in the classroom on a daily basis in areas such as Reader's Theatre and Leadership Circle. Our traditional curriculum is enhanced with a variety of special area subjects including art, computers, music, physical education, science, and Spanish. Critical thinking skills are reinforced in a nurturing, caring environment.
