Message from the Gerstell Office of Development

When you bestow a gift to Gerstell Academy, your generosity has a profound and valuable effect on the lives of each Gerstell student. Your contribution translates into countless leadership, academic and personal experiences that will empower each student and prepare him/ her for life as a contributing citizen to our community.
In the private school sector, tuition alone cannot cover the cost of your child’s educational experience and services. Tuition historically compensates for 80% of a child’s education; thus the school turns to others for financial support.
Throughout the year, fundraising events are sponsored to raise money for the school.
We depend on the generosity of parents, faculty, friends, and businesses to fill the gap. Your contribution is a direct investment into the future of our Gerstell students.

With your financial support you are specifically ensuring that Gerstell Academy can do the following:
• Support student field trips, travel and other excursions which complement the school’s curriculum
• Provide scholarships
• Upgrade computers and others forms of technology
• Attract qualified faculty and keep them by providing competitive salaries, benefit packages and development opportunities
• Outfit students with athletic uniforms and provide sports equipment
• Install a Scoreboard in the new Athletic Center
• Ensure small classes
• Provide additional funds for department operations cost
• Invite guest speakers and lecturers to discuss pertinent issues on education, environment, diversity, religions, politics and social concerns.
• Furnish buildings with classroom furniture and equipment
• Stock the library with current and relevant publications, literature and resource books

You have the choice of specifically stipulating where you want your money to go selecting from the options listed or you may choose to have the money directed to the school’s general account.
