Stephen Olszewski

Stephen Olszewski serves Gerstell Academy's Middle School as Head of Grades Six and Seven. He also serves as History Classroom Leader to all Gerstell Middle School students.

Mr. Olszewski earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland, a Master’s Equivalency in Human Development from the University of Maryland, and a Master’s Degree in History from Boise State University. He believes in lifelong learning, and through his extensive coursework, demonstrates the importance of education.

Mr. Olszewski comes to Gerstell Academy with 30 years of experience serving children and young adults in education, law enforcement, and clinical social work. He has taught at the middle and high school levels as well as in the college and university arena.

At the community recreation league level, Mr. Olszewski has coached elementary and middle school children in baseball, soccer, and softball.

He is the proud father of two children, and he and his family live in Carroll County.
