Beth McKibbin

Beth McKibbin serves Gerstell Academy as our Fifth Grade Classroom Leader.

Ms. McKibbin graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and earned a Master of Education degree in Developmental Reading from Loyola College. She also holds a Master’s Equivalency in Elementary Education with the Maryland State Department of Education @ Towson University. Mrs. McKibbin is a certified member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators as well as a certified Wilson Reading System Language tutor.

Mrs. McKibbin has a wide range of teaching experience, having taught for Baltimore County Public Schools as an elementary and middle school teacher of English. Most recently, Mrs. McKibbin taught sixth through eighth grade reading and English at the Jemicy School in Owings Mills, MD.

Mrs. McKibbin resides in Baltimore County and enjoys spending time with her children. She likes to read, dance, and hike the local trails.
