Earl Long

Earl Long teaches English for the middle school students at Gerstell Academy. He joins Gerstell after thirty two years as a teacher, department head, and assistant principal for the Baltimore City School System. A graduate of Towson University, he has done extensive graduate work at The Johns Hopkins University, The University of Maryland, Morgan State University, and Loyola College. For the last seventeen years, Mr. Long served as assistant principal in the city public school system. He also taught English at the Ner Rabbinical College in their high school program. He and his wife live in Hampstead.
