Diana Greene

Mrs. Greene is currently our Music Leader for students in Pre-K through Second Grade.

She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance. Ms. Greene's Bachelor’s Degree is also in Music from Wheaton College.

Ms. Greene is a music director for the Children’s Chorus of Carroll County where she directs the Les Petites Voix choir and serves as accompanist for their Della Bella and Bel Canto choirs. She is a certified Musikgarten instructor and directs the Music Maker program for kindergarten and first grade singers in the Children’s Chorus. Ms. Greene is a certified instructor from the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association, and in September of 2008 earned Level 2 teacher certification. Ms. Greene is the Vice President for the ECMMA Greater Washington Chapter and in 2008 attended the ECMMA International Convention in Providence, RI.

In April of 2000, she received the Musikgarten Achievement Award for outstanding Musikgarten educational achievements and in 2006 received the Musikgarten Exemplary Program Award. Mrs. Greene also maintains a private piano studio as well as being an active accompanist and chamber music musician, appearing locally with the Trio Giocoso.

Ms. Greene resides in Carroll County with her husband.
