Roxanne Cannaday

Roxanne Cannaday comes to Gerstell Academy as our Lower School Physical Education Leader.

She graduated from Methodist College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education. At Methodist College, Ms. Cannaday was a three sport athlete in basketball, tennis, and softball. She received All-Conference Honors for her performances on the basketball and tennis team.

Previously, Ms. Cannaday was the Athletic Director at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, North Carolina for seven years. In addition to her administrative duties, she was a teacher and Head coach of the Varsity Girls basketball and softball teams. Each summer, she returns to Saint Mary’s to run a Junior All-Sports Camp.

She is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina.
