Sarah Blum

Sarah Blum serves Gerstell Academy as the sixth and seventh grade English teacher and as a sixth grade advisor. 

Ms. Blum is a recent graduate from Loyola University in Baltimore with a Masters Degree in Teaching Secondary English. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UMBC in 2004. Before teaching at Gerstell, Ms. Blum was a substitute teacher in Carroll County Public Schools for four years and an English tutor at the UMBC Writing Center. She was also an editor at a national non-profit organization prior to entering the field of education.

Ms. Blum enjoys playing music, biking, swimming, traveling, reading, and creating art in her spare time. She is a resident of Baltimore County.
