Lindsey Marshall

Lindsey Marshall serves Gerstell Academy as Upper School History teacher and as Faculty Advisor of the We the People Competition Team.

Ms. Marshall graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in International Studies. She returned to Southeastern where she then earned her Master of Arts in History, a minor in Political Science, and completed her thesis, Atomic Authority: Harry S. Truman and the Atomic Bomb. Ms. Marshall also studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria and Edinburgh, Scotland while in college. Before coming to Gerstell Academy she served as an intern with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at Quantico, VA and as an Adjunct Instructor of History with Raritan Valley Community College in New Jersey.

When Ms. Marshall is not teaching history or talking about history she enjoys traveling, hiking, and taking Linus, her Cairn Terrier to dog parks.

Ms. Marshall resides in Baltimore County.
