Jo Anna Edwards

Jo Anna Edwards serves Gerstell Academy as one of our Fifth Grade Classroom Leaders.

Mrs. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, Multi-Subject K-8 from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV.  She has also completed course work at the graduate level at McDaniel College.

Mrs. Edwards has eight years teaching experience at the elementary school level, as well as four years at the middle school level in both public school and private school settings. She was the Assistant Coach for the middle school girls’ volleyball team for three years. She has also served as a tutor for the community and adjunct faculty member at Carroll Community College.

Mrs. Edwards resides in southern Pennsylvania with her family where they enjoys sport, especially attending WVU football games!
