Craig Meister

Craig Meister serves as Gerstell Academy's Director of College Guidance and Upper School History Classroom Leader.

Mr. Meister is the founder and president of Tactical College Consulting LLC, a strategy-driven college admissions consultancy advising students and parents throughout the college search and application process. He also covers college trends and admissions news for Examiner.com (http://www.examiner.com/x-472-Baltimore-College-Prep-Examiner).

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Meister earned at B.A. in Diplomatic History before earning his Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. He has worked in Penn's Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Office of International Programs, and the University of Baltimore Office of Freshman Admission.

A former newspaper reporter, Mr. Meister worked as a Budapest-based Political Section Employee for the US Department of State. In addition to reporting on regional events in Europe, Craig has worked as part of the newsgathering operations of NBC's Meet the Press, CBS's Weekend Evening News, and a global investor relations firm.

Mr. Meister currently resides in Baltimore County.
