Cameron Casey

Cameron Casey serves Gerstell Academy as a Middle School Mathematics teacher and advisor at Gerstell. He helps the Math Counts and Mathalon teams prepare for their respective competitions, as well as coaching Middle School Boys’ Soccer. In addition, he oversees the Middle School Community Service program and coordinates the annual Veterans’ Day celebration.

Mr. Casey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. He brings 8 years of teaching experience to the classroom, and over the years has taught Math 6 through Pre-Calculus.

As a Navy brat, Mr. Casey has lived up and down the East Coast and attended nine different school systems. As a result, he is very adaptable and has a broad world view. He loves the outdoors, dabbles in musical theatre, and is a self-taught ukulele player. He is also left-handed.

Mr. Casey resides in Carroll County with his family.
